The restoration services I offer are to preserve thangkas for future generations and allow them to be appreciated and used in the present, with respect for their essential cultural characteristics, their historical significance, their physical integrity and their aesthetic and spiritual significance.

Each thangka (tangka) and the alterations it may have undergone make it unique. I apply the treatments according to the needs of each work. Before any intervention a diagnosis will be made on the work itself describing all the constituent elements and materials and their state of conservation in order to adapt a restoration proposal justified by its conservation state. At the end of the initial review, a detailed, illustrated document will be issued regarding the state of conservation and the steps needed for retoration. This documentation and restoration proposal allows the owner to understand the process and the nature of each of the operations to be undertaken. The estimate will be established by taking into account the time and materials needed. Once the restoration proposal has been validated and agreed upon with the owner the restoration process can begin.

Each and every step of the restoration process will be documented with images, notes and explanations.
This file will be available upon request at the completion of the restoration work.

I undertake to preserve the complete confidentiality of the thangkas entrusted to me as well as the identity of their owner. None of my references will be presented or communicated without the prior written consent of the owner.
